Future Health Biobank is a global leader in the collection and storage of umbilical cord blood and tissue stem cells for families. It is a UK based company, having offices in more than 23 countries and worldwide presence.


WHAT THEY NEEDED
When Future Health Biobank came to us, it already had a website and an established identity on the web. Actually, what they wanted was to modernise their web presence, make their website more user-friendly and find a way to emphasize that their services were not only important but also necessary.


OUR CONCEPT
From our first visit on the company’s website we found it outdated and dysfunctional. We believed that navigation to the website would be a really confusing experience. Our aim was to clear up the old version, and create a new website more fresh, accessible, easy-navigated, user friendly and neat. We wanted visitors to understand the importance of the company’s services from the very first minutes on the website and also realize that the whole process wasn’t complicated. Clarity, confidence, convenience were our 3Cs for this project.

We had to use specific colors for each of the company’s services and we chose not to change the color palette that the Future Health Biobank already used. So, our aim was to keep the same aesthetic impression that the soft colors, especially the pink, gave, adding the maroon that is used in the company’s logo, combining it in a unique way, with a soft grey background. To make content’s display more clear and visible we created a neutral and bright space at the top of the page. Finally we chose to use large photos to help visitors feel like reading a brochure.
